Cap8 is the brand of C8 Technologies Inc., a quantitative fintech company based in Boston. The founders met at MIT, where the conversations that became Cap8 began, and the three co-founders have worked together for over seven years. Cap8 builds portfolio construction infrastructure for the investment teams of wealth managers, RIAs, and asset managers.

Former Director of Equity Capital Markets at Citi, with a career centered on structuring and distributing financial products into institutional relationships. Lead author of Cap8's peer-reviewed research in the Journal of Portfolio Management. MIT MBA. Leads investment design, financial research, and commercial strategy.
Joseph Peteul
Chief Technology Officer
Former M&A Director at Investec and former CEO of YellowKorner USA. MIT MBA, where he and Santiago met. Leads development of the technology platform, building the SaaS layer that scales and executes the engine for enterprise clients, and drives product implementation and the integration of emerging technologies that complement the platform.
Martha Moreno, PhD
Chief Analytics Officer
Over 18 years in statistical modeling and over 8 years in applied machine learning. PhD from NYU. Owns the engineering behind the engine, leading data science research and machine-learning development.
